This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a Pub/ Restaurant/ Hotel background to move into Contract Catering. I am currently looking to recruit a Head Chef for a B&I contract in North Devon. My client is a leading Independent Caterer and are looking for a dynamic Head Chef to join their team. The kitchen caters for up to 100 covers a day over a breakfast and lunch service.

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for a team of 3 staff, ensuring consistent food quality, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.

The ideal Head Chef will have the following skills/ knowledge

·        A strong Craft background, working with fresh ingredients

·        Working at Chef Manager of Head Chef level

·        Extensive knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements

·        A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures

·        Strong people management skills
