Head of Sales & Events - Kent - 38k plus bonus
My client is a leading contract caterer and they are currently recruiting for a Head of Sales & Events for one of their flagship venues in Kent.
As Head of Sales & Events, your main focuses will be the following:
Manage an events team of 3-4 people
Liaising with the client of the venue continuously looking to grow the relationship at all times
To operationally and strategically lead on large events
To manage catering logistics of each event
To manage orders of equipment, beverages and staffing
To ensure all enquiries and client feedback are managed professionally and in a timely manner
To continuously work towards improving sales and service
Provide appropriate guidance and support to all direct reports
Leading and motivating the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training and mentoring
Financial and budget management including forecasting, cost control and forward planning
For this Head of Sales & Events role, I am looking for a candidate who has:
Event Management experience within either contract catering, event catering, hotels or venues
Experience of managing large events
Understanding of how to coordinate, plan and deliver an event
Exceptional attention to detail
Top level client account management skills
The desire to grow with an exciting, forward thinking company
